Out of the current map pool

Best agents on Split: Omen, Sova, Chamber, Cypher

Split left the pool on patch 13.08 in October 2026. It was a tight vertical map joined by two ropes, so sentinels and duelists who fought well in close corridors mattered more than long range picks.

Duelist

Raze Strong

Boom Bot and satchels clear tight corridors and boost onto rope platforms

Phoenix Strong

Flash entries force the narrow chokepoints leading into each site

Waylay Strong

Speed and slide punish the map's short sight lines and tight corners

Initiator

Sova Core

Recon Bolt lineups reveal defenders through the tight rope routes

Skye Situational

Trailblazer checks blind corners before a tight chokepoint push

Controller

Omen Core

Smokes block the ropes and screens connecting mid to both sites

Viper Strong

Wall cuts off one rope so attackers commit to a single route

Sentinel

Chamber Strong

Trademark locks down the narrow rope choke into each site

Cypher Strong

Trips guard the tight vents and rope routes attackers must use

Sage Situational

Wall blocks a rope entirely to shut down mid rotations

As of October 14, 2026, patch 13.08 (Bind and Corrode in, Ascent and Split out). Tiers come from vlr.gg agent pick rate pages for the three VCT 2026 regional Stage 2 leagues on maps that stayed in the pool and the matching Stage 1 leagues for maps that rotated out, checked against official Riot patch notes for map pool and design details. Corrode tiers come from the four VCT 2025 Stage 2 regional leagues, the last pro events that played it, and Bind tiers come from VCT 2026 Stage 1. Sources: 1, 2, 3
